What is Crossover Indicator?

The crossover indicator is a moving average based indicator.Crossovers indicator are a common way traders use Moving Averages. A crossover occurs with Moving Average (i.e. a shorter period Moving Average) crosses either above a slower Moving Average (i.e. a longer period Moving Average) which is considered a bullish crossover or below which is considered a bearish crossover. The Crossover indicator generates a favorable output (signal) when Indicator A crosses Indicator B. The signal is given in the direction of the Indicator A. I.E. if Indicator A crosses above Indicator B then a Long signal is given.
